Full Day Tour to highlights of Kefalonia (Mini Bus)
So much beauty and spectacular sights to see on this tour.
After pick up we are driving to Agios Nikolaos, the northern port of Zakynthos where we board in a ferry arriving to Pessada, Kefallonia. This is your chance to do a bit of dolphin spotting, as many times these beautiful creatures are seen following the ferry.
If you think of yourself as having a singing talent then the next stop is for you. After travelling through the most picturesque landscape and views, we reach Drogarati Caves. As well as the famous magical stalactites and stalagmites, this cave has perfect acoustics. If you feel brave enough try out your own vocals!!.
Lake Melissani is the next stop. This is a cave with a rare open roof dome. As you take the small boat into the cave you will notice how the open roof lets in the sunlight reflecting off the lakes clear blue waters.
We head off from here for a well deserved lunch break in the traditional fishing village of Agia Efimia.
After lunch its time to make our way to Kefalonia’s Capital, Argostoli. Before reaching the capital we have a swimming stop opportunity to one of the most beautiful beaches, Myrtos Beach. The bay is surrounded by tall green cliffs, the beach made of white small pebbles and the crystal clear sea of electric blue to turquoise colours.
Final stop before heading back to the port of Pessada is Argostoli. A modern and cosmopolitan town. Here you have time to take a walk in the square or along the port and maybe a bit of shopping.
The tour ends with the ferry crossing back to Zakynthos and boarding on the mini bus, where we drop you off to your hotel.
