Zakynthos (Zante) The Flower of the East

Zakynthos is the southernmost and third biggest in both size and populace of the Ionian islands. It is located 8.5 nautical miles south of Kefallonia, 9.5 nautical miles west of the Peloponnese and roughly 300 kilometers west of the capital of Greece, Athens.

Its land position gives the oportunity of an easy way to go adjacent islands as well as to the mainland of Greece.
