South Zante: Guided Tour By Vip Mini Bus (photography / Swimming)
On this tour, we explore the south side of Zakynthos island, and in particular the Vassilikos peninsula and around Laganas area.
Leaving from your hotel by mini bus, we head straight to Gerakas Beach. Being one of the largest beaches of Vassilikos village, Gerakas beach will leave you amazed with the tranquility and relaxation it offers. Next we continue to Banana beach where you can view the amazing beach bars and watch watersports in action.
Our next stop is Cameo island. This is not a typical sight, but it is an interesting place to see. Cameo is a small private island next to the port of Agios Sostis. In the past it was used to be part of the mainland, but after an earthquake it split like a small piece of land into the sea. Cameo is connected to the mainland via a small wooden bridge. After crossing the bridge, you will see a gate. This is the place where entrance is collected so you can visit the island and the small beach with beach bar.
Moving forward to Korakonisi island, which is a unique monument of nature. The formation of the rock that creates it starts from a spectacular arch that exceeds 20m. The arch covers a small closed bay. Inside the waters are cool and blue and the seabed is wonderful. It is surrounded by sea, rocks and joins the rest of the land in a single small piece of rock.
Finally we reach to Keri Lighthouse. What you will see from here, especially on days with good weather, will be an unforgettable moment from your visit to the island, because moving next to the small lighthouse you will also have the opportunity to observe, high above the rocks, Mizithres.
